We’re Belinda and Winnie, two moms  based in Toronto who started Roots Pantry during the pandemic when our little ones and us kept getting sick. When medicine wasn’t giving us the full support we needed, we did what generations before us did: we went back to our roots.

For us, that meant traditional Chinese soup, nourishing, comforting, and made with purpose.

As we began making these soups regularly, we realized how hard it was to find premium, clean, and reliable ingredients in Canada. We spent countless hours researching, sourcing, and testing ingredients from trusted suppliers, choosing only what met the standard we would serve our own families.

Roots Pantry was born from that journey.

我哋係 Belinda 同 Winnie，兩個喺多倫多嘅媽媽，亦係 Roots Pantry 嘅創辦人。

Roots Pantry 嘅故事，係由疫情期間開始。

嗰段時間，我哋同屋企嘅小朋友成日病。當我哋發現單靠食藥未必足夠照顧好身體，就諗返起上一代一直教落嚟嘅方法——由根本開始，好好調理身體。

對我哋嚟講，就係一碗傳統中式老火湯。

一碗靚湯，唔單止暖胃、滋養身體，更加係中國人幾代傳承落嚟嘅養生智慧。

當我哋開始經常煲湯，就發現喺加拿大要搵到真正優質、乾淨又可靠嘅湯料，原來一啲都唔容易。

所以我哋花咗好多時間研究、搵貨源、親自試用，同值得信賴嘅供應商合作。每一款材料，我哋都會問自己：

「呢樣嘢，我會唔會放心煲俾自己屋企人飲？」

只有答案係「會」，我哋先會選用。

就係咁，Roots Pantry 誕生咗。

我哋每一款湯包同養生包，都經過細心挑選，份量預先配好，方便大家使用

每一款材料都由我哋親自搵齊同做足品質檢查，之後先喺加拿大包裝同寄出。
